About Freddie

Freddie Farrow Studio combines the discipline and technical precision of my architectural training and my pleasure in transforming everyday spaces into pieces of graphic art, which carry a surprisingly powerful emotional charge.By inviting me and my work into your home, you can make meticulously observed pieces of your memory permanent. There's a deep appreciation in the joy of noticing, and celebrating, the familiar.After finishing my degree in architecture, back home applying for hundreds of jobs was unrewarding. But this has given me time and motivation to develop my other passion, ready to create my own opportunities doing what I love for other people.Initially painting gifts for my family soon turned to painting for myself; capturing the quiet, perhaps overlooked corners of my childhood home—spaces I realised I loved and would (hopefully) soon miss again. A way to find joy in the mundane and ‘archive' personal moments through careful, detailed gouache painting.
