About Freddie
Freddie Farrow Studio combines the discipline and precision of my architecture degree and my passion for transforming personal, everyday spaces into pieces of art.Noticing, appreciating, and celebrating the familiar.Inviting my work into your home, you are able to preserve your favourite room, corner, or place forever. Painted by someone who really does care about the details.After finishing my degree, being back home applying for hundreds of jobs wasn't what I pictured. But, when the jobs quietened down, I began painting again. A love I'd let slip in pursuit of a sensible career.I started capturing the quiet, perhaps overlooked corners of my childhood home; spaces I realised I loved and would (hopefully) soon miss again. A way to find joy in the mundane and ‘archive' personal moments through careful, detailed gouache painting.

A Record of my RecordsEver since I got my first job at 15, I have collected vinyls. They came with me to uni (where a couple sadly melted) and back home again. I imagine in the future I have a huge collection proudly displayed, and this can be my reminder of how far I've come.I love the purposeful, physical act of putting on a record. Much like me painting this, a conscious decision to archive this moment in time.
